Shekinah
Last Sunday of the month, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sep - May; held at
Shiktehawk Camp.
The Baptist youth of our Northwestern Association (Baptist Churches of
Carleton, Victoria, & Madawaska counties) meet monthly for an upbeat
service of Christian contemporary worship -- called Shekinah
(Hebrew meaning " presence or glory of God"). Youth and youth leaders
plan the meetings. Groups from other denominations join to make a
gathering of 100-200 (and growing) teenagers and leaders. Shekinah -- to
our area youth, it means a live worship band, informal devotional time,
lots of friends . . . and even food! |

Shiktehawk Camp
Shiktehawk Bible Camp and youth go together like a hot day and a
swimming pool. Week-long summer camps include H2O
Blast,
X-treme Adventure, and many more! Snowblast is 3-day event
during March Break; weekend adventure camps; mission tours; and the list
goes on. Shiktehawk -- it's little wonder so many youth of various
backgrounds begin, and grow, their relationship with God in that special
place.
