We believe the local church is mandated by God to provide ministry to people -- in our homes, communities, province, country, and around the world. Therefore, we ensure that we support missions organizations that are able to minister in ways and places that extend far beyond the capacity of the local church. We are one of over 1000 churches in our Canadian Baptist denomination. Through this collective resource, we are able to be a contributing member church to support missions at home and abroad. Missions takes the form of evangelism, training, relief, coordination, and much more. Through our United in Mission budget, we support our Atlantic Canada ministry through the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches, and our Canadian and worldwide ministry through Canadian Baptist Ministries. |
